Marsha Ann Eversole of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 2:01 am. She was born January 17, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Bruce Breeding and the late Evelyn Breeding. She grew up in Madison, Indiana before living with her husband and children in Kentucky, Tennessee, and South Carolina. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She lived her life following the teachings of Jesus Christ as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eversole; brother, Joel Breeding; brother-in-law, Harold Elsea; son-in-law Mike Yarbrough; grandson-in-law, Greg Hunter; and nephew, Jonathan Ford. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Yarbrough; son, Ken Eversole II (Lauren); grandchildren, Madey Gleaves (Michael), Peyton Yarbrough (Anna), Caden Eversole, Carragan Eversole, Matthew Yarbrough, Brittany Hunter-Renaud (Josh); great grandchildren, Avery Hunter, Shyan Hunter, Briggs Hunter, and Adaleigh Hunter. She is also survived by her brother, Tim Breeding (Kim); sister, Leslie Ford (John); sister-in laws, Sharron Elsea and Angela Wells (Donnie); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends, and her beloved yorkie, Vader.
She loved being with her family, Disney World, The University of Tennessee sports, getting her nails done, watching TV, and hosting friends and family by the pool. She rarely missed any sporting event or ceremony involving her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was proud of their every accomplishment. She always strived to look her best and be her best. She loved her church family and developing lifelong friendships. She was everyone’s Nana, and to know her was to love her. The visitation and memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 1883 Saluda Road in Rock Hill, SC 29730. The family will receive visitors in the cultural hall starting at 5:00 pm with the memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm in the chapel.
