Pineville, N.C.- Marilyn P. Porter, 74, 11914 Southcrest Lane, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Carmel Road, Charlotte.

Mrs. Porter was born September 20, 1935, to the late Paul T. and Gertha Smith Parrigin.

She is survived by her four sons, Kevin, Kerry, David and Robert; three daughters, Freda, Paula and Maryann and one sister, Rebecca Partington.

The family will receive friends 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday at Whitesell Funeral Home and 9:30 - 10:30 am Friday at the church.
