Marilyn Cicily Brayford Jan 22, 2025. Marilyn died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Born on July 12th 1933 in Stoke-on-Trent England to Aurther Ernest and Ada Norine Scragg. She married John Raymond Brayford, the love of her life, on April 20th 1957. She had a zest for life enjoying church, choir, cooking, crafts, traveling and tennis. She will be missed.

 She is survived by her loving daughter Julie Newman, granddaughter Sydney Moon and grandson Paul Brayford as well as many extended family members and friends in England. Australia and America. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Enid Ratcliffe and sons Terrance and Mark. 

A Memorial service will be held at a later date at Park Pointe Village in Rock Hill SC. In lieu of flowers donations to: St John’s Episcopal Memorial Fund Charlotte, Park Pointe Village Samaritan fund Rock Hill, Make a Wish foundation or Operation Smile.
