Marian Hinson Faile Faulkenberry, 82 of Rock Hill, widow of Rev. Hubert (Bully) Faulkenberry, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Born Oct. 19, 1932, in Kershaw, she was a daughter of Furman Jackson (Mac) Faile, Sr. and Vivian Marian Hinson Faile. She had been married to her High School sweetheart for 59 years. She worked at Springs Industries and had been a cafeteria manager for the Rock Hill Schools system. As the wife of a Minister, she was active in all phases of Christian work and witnessed to others about God's love and salvation. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Rock Hill for 43 years. She is survived by a son, John (Mac) Faulkenberry wife, Karen, of Camden; two daughters, Tina Rabon, husband, Ernie of Chester; Lisa Funderburk , husband, Benny of Rock Hill. Marian was also legal guardian to Aimee Bailey of the home, Kevin Sims of Kershaw and Mandi Blackwelder of Fort Mill. 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Bothers, Jackson Faile wife, Marsha, of Clover; Ken Faile and wife Mary Esther of Lancaster. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Keith and Rick Faulkenberry, her sister Barbara Faile Meadows, two grandchildren, Coach Chad Faulkenberry and Rachel Mullis. The family would like to also thank her special caregiver and granddaughter, Aimee Bailey and husband Bill. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 24, in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Devinney will officiate. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home.
