Margaret Kathleen (Monroe) Gebhardt

Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Margaret “Cassie” Kathleen Monroe Gebhardt, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at her home.

A Celebration of Life service will be 3:00 pm, Friday, April 14, 2023, at Lakewood Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating.

A native of Rock Hill, SC Mrs. Gebhardt was a daughter of the late A.C. Monroe, Sr. and Betty S. Monroe.  She retired after many years of service at the Sanger Clinic in Charlotte, NC.  She will be a lady who is remembered for her love for her family and especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.  She had a huge heart. She was always a funny lady who told great stories.

Surviving are her daughter, Kelly Hailey (Pete); a son, Wesley Knight (Natalie); 3 grandchildren, Gable and Larkin Knight and Kaitlyn Roberts; a sister Libby Miller (Tommy); her special gal pal, Delayla Miller; and her special companion, her cat, Amber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Gebhardt; brother, A.C. Monroe, Jr.; and a grandson, Travis Neal Hailey.
