Margaret Hathcock Garrison

Rock Hill - Mrs. Margaret Hathcock Garrison, 83, of 1720 Matthews Drive, died Monday, April 18, 2016, at Wayne T Patrick Hospice House.

Memorial services will be 4:00 pm Wednesday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Herlong officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be private.

A native of Jefferson, SC Mrs. Garrison was a daughter of the late John Duncan Hathcock and Mamie Donahue Hathcock. She was a homemaker and a member of Aldersgate U.M.C. where she was active in the U.M.W. for many years and a member of the Friendship Bible Class. She was a volunteer with the Pink Lady at Piedmont Medical Center. She was also a member of the Civitan Club.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Kell Garrison; four daughters, Gloria H Roach (Richard) of Rock Hill, Kathy H Rollins of Glade Spring, Va., Teri G Wooden of Rock Hill and Kelli G Dixon (Walt) of Rock Hill; 10 grandchildren, Shelley Loungo, Kim Parrish (Jeff), Ashley Ann (Steve), Amy Clark (Tommy), Brendan McCoy (Cara), Mallory Fast (Gage), Alex Wooden, Lee Wooden, Gray Shelley and Michaela Dixon; 15 great-grandchildren, Matt, Allyson, Kinsey, Landry, Cody, Taylor, Marleigh, Gaven, Roe, Jack, Zoe, Adia, Esme, Raena, and Wyatt; and 3 great-great-grandchildren, Weslee, Anderson, and Barryn. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Roach.
