Lucille was born on April 26, 1936, to the late Elzie and Addie Wilson in Fort Mill, South Carolina. She attended Fort Mill High School and eventually retired from Lance, Inc and Walmart of Rock Hill.
Lucille is survived by her children, Richard Haynes, Teri Lee, Dennis Haynes and Ray Haynes. Lucille was a very proud grandmother and great grandmother. She was fondly known as “Maw Maw” to Christen Carter Sifontes (Yucel), Kim Carter Hildreth (Tony), Annabel Lee (Devin), Micah Lee and granddaughter-in-law, Christina Carter. She also leaves behind 7 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and friends from her White Oak community.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by grandsons, Ray J Carter III and Christopher Haynes; son-in-law, Eric Lee; sons, Joey and Gene Haynes; brothers, Gerald and Leroy Wilson; sister, Judy Wilson; and granddaughter; Melisa Haynes.
We all know Maw Maw was thrilled to run into her favorite grandchild, “Ray Jackson” when she entered into her heavenly home.
