Lucille F. Bailey

A native of York County, Mrs. Bailey passed away December 11, 2022, She was 93 years old. She was the daughter of the late Charles M. Freeman and Edna Parks Freeman. Her brothers Robert (Bobby) E. Freeman, Columbia, SC and Charlie T. Freeman, Pensacola, Fl.

She is survived by a sister Joyce F. Holt of Jacksonville Fl. Her daughters Brenda M. Stroupe, Rock Hill, SC., Wanda M. Braswell (Huey) Newland, NC. Her grandchildren Jamie and Charlie Moss, and Christopher Braswell.

She retired after 33 years as a senior secretary at Bowater in Woodlands. Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Bowater Catawba Women's Club, she loved to play golf and spend time with her family. She was honored by the club at her retirement for years of her service with Bowater.
