Lizzie Jane (Wolfe) Helms

Lancaster – Mrs. Lizzie Jane Wolfe Helms, 74, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Lancaster Convalescent Home.

Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Monday at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112 with the Rev. Jeffery McWatters officiating.

A native of Monroe, NC Mrs. Helms was a daughter of the late Hunter William Wolfe and Loma Pemilla Vickery Wolfe.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving are her three daughters, Mickie Pressley and her husband, Jimmy, Michelle Rainey, and her husband, Billy, and Shelby Smith, and her husband, Philip; two sons, Junior Helms, and his wife, Kimberly; and Johnny Helms, and his wife, Penny; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Joe Helms; and a daughter, Joanne Helms Gaddy.
