Lisa Bishop Nixon

York – Mrs. Lisa Bishop Nixon, 36, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, September 10, 2018.

The family will receive friends at 4:00 pm Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2020 Hillcrest Rd, York, SC 29745 and a memorial service will follow at 5:00 p.m.

A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Nixon was a daughter of Eric Glenn Bishop and Susan Erdy Bishop. Lisa was a loving wife, mother, and friend to anyone she met. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, York SC. She was known as MiMi to Jayden, Noah, and Kensley.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, James Nixon; two daughters, Emily Gordon and Jannie Gordon; a brother, Eric Glenn Bishop II; a friend that was as close as a sister, Joni Waggoner; her paw-paw, David Erdy; her Aunt, Teresa Erdy Hinson; her Uncle, David Erdy, Jr.; Summer Langston (who was like her daughter); and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
