Lenora Blakley Young

Mrs. Lenora Blakley Young, of Rock Hill SC, died in her home, surrounded by her family on October 21, 2016. She was 79 years old. Lenora is survived by her children, Randy and Angela Young of Rock Hill; Bryant and Lisa Young of Rock Hill; Barry and Mandy Sims of Rock Hill; her 14 grandchildren; and her 18 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Young of Rock Hill; and her daughter, Judy Moore of Monroe. Lenora was born on July 12, 1937 in Andrews SC to Bryant and Edwina Blakley along with her two brothers, Roger and Avanda Blakley; and her three sisters, Ernestine Canon, Francis Byrdic, and Faye Johnson. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bass-Cauthen Funeral home in Rock Hill. A funeral is scheduled for Monday, October 24 at 3:00 p.m. and will also be held at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with intement to follow inthe Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
