LaVerne Alan Morton

Clover, SC – Mr. LaVerne Alan Morton, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 27, 2025, at his home.

A service will be held at a later date.

A native of Dansville, NY, Mr. Morton was a son of the late Donald Harold Morton and Priscilla Grey Buss Morton. He enjoyed spending time at the beach. His family and friends were always an important part of his life. He believed in living life to the fullest and experienced much joy in his life. His personality was very outgoing and he enjoyed being the center of attention.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Cindy Shank Morton; a son, Shane Morton (Tasha Barger); two grandchildren, Lilia Morton and Damilynn Morton. He was preceded in death by a son, Damian Morton.
