Following Celebration of Life
On Thursday, May 28, 2026, Kimberly Anne Williams passed away unexpectedly at the age of 55 in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Kim was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and spent her youth in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she attended public schools and graduated with honors from Green Run High School in 1988. Kim was a faithful member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was baptized on July 7, 1990.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anne King, her sister, Jasmine Celestine Williams; her aunts, Virginia Littlejohn and Geraldine Odom; and her uncle, Jarvis Boone.
Kim built a successful career in the financial services industry, working for American Funds, Wachovia, and later TIAA, where she spent the majority of her professional life. During her tenure at TIAA, she earned numerous promotions, awards, and accolades in recognition of her dedication, leadership, and excellence. She furthered her professional expertise through financial management training at the University of Virginia, MIT, and Harvard University.
Kim was known for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and generous spirit. Her primary love was for Jehovah, her family, her friends, and traveling. She enjoyed being in the ministry and teaching others about the hope for the future. Kim was always willing to lend a helping hand and offer encouragement to those around her. Her generosity goes beyond mentioning. Her warmth, compassion, and genuine love for others will be remembered by all who knew her.
Kim leaves to cherish her memory, her father, George C. Williams, Jr. (Kay), sisters, Kelley Cato (Charles); Terri Craft, Kelley Craft, and Shanekqua King; her niece, Syndey Cato, nephews Mason Cato, Donavan Perryman, Carter Rodgers, Jacsen Williams, and bonus mom, Lynette Mack (Richard). She also leaves a host of other relatives, friends, colleagues, and loved ones who will miss her dearly.
Kim’s legacy of kindness, perseverance, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
