Khuy Ngy Hear

Mr. Khuy Ngy Hear, 82, of 3019 Sparkston Ln., passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill. A native of Cambodia Mr. Hear was born a son of the late Khung P. Hear on November 11, 1928. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was also a self-employed chef who owned his own catering business. He was preceded in death by two children, three brothers and one sister. Surviving are his loving wife Heng Lec; eight children; eighteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A mass of Buddhist burial will be held on Monday at 3:00pm in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with His Holiness Bun Leng officiating. Entombment will follow the service in Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-6pm on Saturday and from 3-5pm on Sunday in Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. Memorials in honor of Mr. Hear may be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
