Kenneth Wayne Owings

YORK - Kenneth Wayne Owings, 49, of 2929 Chester Highway, died Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, at Forest Hills Cemetery.

Born in Rock Hill, Kenny was the son of Linda Sistar Owings and the late Tommy Andrew Owings. He was also the husband of the late Tammy Owings. Kenneth was a past President of the Men's Auxiliary VFW Post 2889 and also a member of their Honor Guard. He was also a member of the American Legion Riders.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Chris Owings; three sisters, Tonda Owings, Sherry Owings, and Megan Waldrop.
