It is with deep heartfelt sadness that we share the sudden passing of Keith Dwayne Stanley, age 55, of Ridgeway, SC. While his journey on this earth ended August 6, 2025, the light he carries will continue to shine in the hearts of all who love him.
Keith had a larger-than-life love, bringing an abundance of joy, warmth, comfort, and selfless compassion to everyone he met. He loved his family and friends deeply, always eager to be of service and support. Known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, Keith could lift the spirits of any room he walked into. His warm smile, easy laugh, generous spirit, humble heart, and deep gratitude for his loved ones were gifts cherished by all who knew him.
Born on October 12, 1969, in Willoughby, Ohio, Keith was the beloved son of the late Donald Winston and Katherine Sue (Brainard) Stanley. He carried their powerful legacy of love throughout his life and passed that love onto his family and friends.
Keith was a devoted father to daughters Brittany Barth, Kierra, and Kiersten Stanley, and his son Charlie Roble. He was a proud grandfather to Harlan and River Barth, whose love, laughter, and energy brought him so much happiness and joy.
He is also survived by his loving siblings Kevin (Vicki) Stanley, Kimberly Hopkins, and Kelly (Michael) Lynah, and will be greatly missed by his 5 nieces: Elizabeth, Payton, Samantha, Kendall, and Nina.
Those who knew Keith will remember his unconditional love and unwavering acceptance of others, his child-like joy and sense of wonder, his strength in supporting others through life’s challenges, his warm and generous heart-centered presence, and his countless selfless acts of service - just a few of the many beautiful qualities he shared with those he loved.
He is leaving behind an enduring testament of devotion, love, and light that has touched and changed many lives, a brilliance that will be remembered always.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Boulevard, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Agapé Hospice (803-329-4544 - 1326 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
