Kathleen Groves Riley

Rock Hill – Mrs. Kathleen Groves Riley, 88, entered into her eternal life with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.

Mrs. Riley was born in Cuzzart, West Virginia and was a daughter of the late William Troy Groves and Esther Florence Hardesty Groves.  She was a 1932 graduate from Bruceton High School in Bruceton, WV. She was a lifelong member of the Nazarene Church.  She was employed with Monongalia County School System for more that 20 years in Morgantown, WV.  She enjoyed music and collecting.

Surviving are her daughters and spouses – Dana E. and Thomas Bolyard of Fort Mill, SC and Robin R. and the Rev. Scott Wilson of Rocklin, CA; a son, Jeffrey C. and Mindy Riley of Greenville, SC; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a sister and her spouse, Leona and Elmer Collier of Lakeland, Fla. A brother and his spouse, Ray and Mary Groves of Brooksville, Fla; and a daughter-in-law, Judy Riley.  She was preceded in death by her husband, David Dee Riley Sr. of 63 years; a son, David D. Riley Jr.; a daughter, Cheryl L Chidester; and 9 brothers and sisters.

We will miss our beloved mother and she will always be remembered.
