Joyce Marlow Raines

Mrs. Joyce Marlow Hancock Raines, 73, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at CMC – Pineville, Charlotte, NC.

Memorial service will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Whitesell Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffery McWatters officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

A native of York County, SC, Mrs. Raines was a daughter of the late Andrew Hancock and LeaRoy Catledge Hancock. She was a lifetime member of the Lady’s Auxiliary of the Fort Mill VFW Post 9138 and was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed drinking coffee and dancing.

Surviving are her four sons, Douglas Ralph Marlow, Jr., LeRoy Andrew Marlow, Robert Max Marlow, and Harry Eugene Marlow; two brothers, James Hancock and his wife, Betty and Hazel Hancock; two sisters, Sylvia Marlow and Benky Benton; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
