Joseph Robert Lane Jr., of Fort Mill, South Carolina, passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 81.

Born on December 20, 1944, in Lancaster, South Carolina, Mr. Lane was the son of Joe Lane and Geneva Lane. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Lane, as well as by his parents, Joe Lane and Geneva Lane.

He is survived by his sister, Patsy Bayne, and her husband, Jacky, of Fort Mill, South Carolina. Their love and support were an important part of his family circle and remain a lasting part of his memory.
