Born in Beverly, OH, he is the son of the late Bowen Franklin Van Cooney and Jean Katherine Gilliland Van Cooney. Mr. Van Cooney was a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic in the Automotive Repair Industry. Mr. Van Cooney is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nina Orton Van Cooney and his sister; Kathy Harrer and her husband Jim of Kentucky.
