Joe Myers

Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Joe Myers, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 26, 2021.

A funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home with Pastor David Myers officiating.  Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park, Lancaster, SC.

A native of Pageland, SC, Mr. Myers was born on June 26, 1933, and was a son of the late Henry Myers and Edna Welch Myers.   Joe was the owner of Myers Used Appliances in the Lesslie area for 50 years. He will be remembered as a strong, independent, and Godly man.  He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.  He was always on the go and was on the hunt for a deal.  He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandchildren.  His family was always important in his life.

Surviving are four children, Marilyn “Sissy” Rollings (Lonzo), David Myers (Laura), Michael Myers, and Anthony “Bubba” Myers; a brother, L.J. Myers; a sister, Mary Oliver; three grandchildren, Michelle Hayes Hinton, Catlin Rollings, and Harley Myers Lozado (Ruben); seven great grandchildren, Paige Hayes, Makya Hayes, Alyssa Myers, Sarah Rollings, Sadie Rollings, Harper Lozado; a great-great-grandson, Aiden Edwards.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Stevens Myers; and a son, Anthony Ronnie Myers.
