Rock Hill – Mrs. Jimmie Juanita Pryor Black, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 12, 2018.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227, with the Dr. Walter Black officiating. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Whitesell Funeral Home.
Born in Charlotte, NC Mrs. Black was a daughter of the late Albert Pinkney Pryor and Evelyn Bernice Norment Pryor. She was a member of Woodvale Baptist Church of Rock Hill.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Cecil E. Black; six children, Connie Fitch (Steven), Wesley Black, Helen Martin (Richard), Walter Black (Joyce), Sonja Staton (David), and Bryan Black; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
