Jeanette Estes Brown

Jeanette Estes Brown, 77, of 3415 Pinehill Road, passed away Tuesday, December 01, 2009 at Piedmont Medical Center. A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Brown was born September 30, 1932, a daughter of the late Robert Franklin and Sallie McDaniel Estes. She was a longtime employee of Belk's Department Store, Tollison and Neal Drug Store and retired from the South Carolina Department of Health as a home health nurse. Mrs. Brown was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son David Ferguson and a grandson Robbie Ferguson. Surviving are her husband James Ray Brown; one son Stan Ferguson and his wife Karen of Rock Hill; a step-daughter Susan McCoy and her husband Marty; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00pm Wednesday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brown will be held Thursday at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on S. Cherry Road.
