Jean W Hammett

Rock Hill - Mrs. Kathryn Jean Williams Hammett, 69 of 121 Pinewood Lane, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sat. at the Wayne T. Patrick House Chapel, 2275 India Hook Road, Rock Hill.

A native of Orangeburg, Mrs. Hammett was a daughter of the late Sidney and Kathryn Carter Williams. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her husband, Eugene Wayne Hammett of the home; five daughters, Karen H. Law of Savannah, Ga., V. Lynn Hammett of Seneca, SC, Tara Huffman Carignan of Atlanta, Ga., Kim Howe of York, and Deidre Canty of Rock Hill; one sister, Margie Dukes of Orangeburg; granddaughter, Ryan Canty of the home and seven other grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
