IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason Paul
Zalewski
June 18, 1977 – March 27, 2026
Jason Paul Zalewski, 48, lived life on his own terms. Fittingly, he entered the world with Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” playing in the background. That spirit never left him.
Born to Joseph and Christine Zalewski, Jason was the oldest child and carried that role with a mix of independence, humor, and quiet responsibility. He was a big brother to Diana Driscoll, a father to Warren Zalewski, and a husband to Taylor Mannella - roles he held with deep love expressed it in his own unmistakable way.
Known to his high school friends as “Gene” (short for genius), Jason had a sharp wit and a mind that didn’t follow the crowd. Known in his tight circle as the “contrarian,” he wasn’t afraid to challenge ideas or stand his ground because he cared deeply about the people in his life, his community, and his country.
Jason had a gift for bringing people together. Whether it was through music, time spent on an island, watching a round of golf, or simply being in good company, he valued connection and knew how to make moments memorable. He believed in enjoying life, sharing laughs, and making the most of the time you have.
He will be remembered for his individuality, his humor, his loyalty, and the way he made life a little more interesting just by being himself.
A celebration of Jason’s life will be held at a later date. In keeping with who he was, it will be a time to gather, share stories, laugh, and honor a life lived unapologetically.
