Jason Kiley Bruce

Jason Kiley Bruce, 51, of Rock Hill, SC passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family, after a brief battle with cancer, on October 8, 2025, at Atrium Health in Pineville.

Jason is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Donna Brown Bruce; and he leaves behind a loving legacy in his three sons, Taylor Kiley Bruce (Shadie), Jarrett Logan Bruce (Kinley) and Nathan Connor Bruce; Four granddaughters, Carlie, Arianna, Avery and Aubrie, all of Rock Hill, SC;  additional survivors are his mother, Sandra June Johnson of Fort Mill; sisters, Amy Smith (David) of Lancaster, SC, Marie McManus(Wayne) of Fort Mill, SC and Stacy Riley (Dustin) of Florida; and many loved nephews, nieces, extended family members and dear friends.

He was a cherished husband, father, son, brother and friend whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. Throughout his life, Jason was fondly known for his unwavering compassion, sense of humor and steadfast dedication to family and friends. He was always helping family, friends and neighbors in need, and even the occasional stranger.

He was an avid outdoorsman who was passionate about nature, hunting and fishing. He shared this passion with his boys and many of their friends. While he had a multitude of deer and fish for the books, his most treasured catch was his wife and his proudest trophies were his three sons, which he took every available opportunity to brag about.

His family appreciated, respected and loved him beyond measure. They will forever have an empty place in their hearts that can never be filled. They will carry his love, teachings, words of wisdom and memories until such time God sees fit to reunite them.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Providence Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service.
