Janice Ann Winbush

Janice Ann Murrell Winbush, 65, of Indian Land, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019 following a period of declining health.

Janice was born on January 11, 1954 in New York, NY to the late Hilliard and Thelma Phipps Murrell. She was retired from the New York City School system as a teacher.
Janice loved learning, listening to worship music, cooking healthy food, and spending time with her friends and family whom she loved deeply.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Benjamin Winbush.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Jasmine Winbush of Indian Land, brothers Bradley Murrell of California and Brian Murrell of New York. Also surviving are numerous special nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, Rock Hill. Interment will follow in Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 PM.
