Janice Gail Winecoff Evans

Fort Mill, SC - Janice “ Jan” Winecoff Evans, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025 surrounded by her family at Piedmont Medical Center of Fort Mill. 

Janice was born on January 16, 1962, to the late Samuel Lee Winecoff and Shirley Ruth Winecoff. Married to her beloved husband of 40 years, Jerry Dale Evans. She loved her family, friends and loved to watch her grandbabies play ball.

She is survived by her daughter Samantha Leigh Ellis, her son by love Ben “Bengo” Ellis, her grandbabies Emily Devinney, Marley Devinney, and Luke Ellis. As well as many special family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and both parents.

The family and friends will celebrate her life on Monday, May 5th, 2025, at 11am at Sisk Memorial Baptist Church, 115 Massey Street ,Fort Mill, SC with Pastor Jay Dorman and Pastor Reid McAteer officiating.
