James Richard Royal

Rock Hill – Mr. James Richard Royal, 56, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at his home.

A native of Clinton, MA, Mr. Royal was a son of the late John Royal and Hazel Brownson Givskud.  He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid New England Patriot fan.  He will be remembered as a hard-working man who provided for his family.  He loved his chocolate lab, Cooper.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Pullen Royal; four brothers, David Givskud, Kenneth Hoey Bobby Royal, and John Hoey; two sisters, Penny Ann Lopez and Anna Wikels.  James was preceded in by his parents, and a sister, Kathy Shanahan.
