James Kennington

ROCK HILL- James Roger Kennington, 57, of 1625 Oak Court, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, February 2, 2010.

Memorial services will be 7-8:15 P.M. Thursday,at Carolinas Cornerstone Church, 1790 Gardendale Road, Fort Mill, S.C.. (Carolinascornerstone.org)

Born in Rock Hill, he is the son of Mildred Christine Bailey and the late James Clifford Kennington. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving with the 2nd Armored Calvary Regiment in Germany. He was a Barber serving the York County community and Miami area for 40 years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Cathy Rockett and Jennie McCorkle; his son, Clifford Ray Kennington; and one grand daughter, Kylie Kennington.
