James Edward Freeman, Jr

Lancaster, SC – Mr. James “J.” Edward Freeman, Jr., 57, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

A Celebration of Life service will be 6:30 pm., Friday, June 20, 2025, at Trinity Baptist Church, 1519 Steel Hill Road, Lancaster, SC, 29720. The family will receive friends following the service.

A native of Lancaster, SC, Mr. Freeman was a son of the late James Edward Freeman, Sr. and Trudy Deese Freeman. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was the owner of Arc Works Inc, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved the Lord with all of his heart, and believed “a friend loveth at all times.” (Proverbs 17:17).

Surviving are his wife, Karen Freeman; a son, Jason Freeman and his wife, Madison; and three grandchildren, Rhett Freeman, Lainey Freeman, and Elliana Stanley.
