James Bailey

Rock Hill – Mr. James Bailey, 88, died on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at White Oak Manor – Rock Hill, SC.

The family will receive friends 12:30 - 1:45 pm Wednesday, December 15, 2021at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home and a graveside service will follow at  2:00 pm at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Gary Atkins officiating.

A native of Rock Hill, SC Mr. Bailey was a son of the late James Lee Bailey and Nanny Yelton Bailey.  Mr. Bailey was a retired Airborne with the United States Army.  He loved his Country and serving in the military.  He will be remembered as a man how loved his children, grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren.  He has a special affection for his horse, Jake.  He was a faithful member of Harvest Ministries.

Surviving are his two sons, William Anthony “Tony” Bailey and James Wayland Bailey and his wife, Linda; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Wayne Bailey and Thomas Walter Bailey.
