In Loving Memory of Greg Lewis Bard

December 2, 1976 – October 26, 2025

Greg Lewis Bard, 48, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on

October 26, 2025. Born in Sharon, Connecticut on December 2, 1976, Greg was the

beloved son of Gary and Nancy (Cann) Bard. He spent his childhood in Holmes, New

York, attending Pawling School and St. Columba, before graduating from Canterbury

School. Greg went on to earn his degree in Packaging Engineering from the Rochester

Institute of Technology and dedicated the past 25 years of his career to Sealed Air

Corps.

Greg will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 22 years, Denise; his daughter, Melody;

and his son, Justin. He is also survived by his parents, Gary and Nancy, as well as his

sister, Carol. Greg was the cornerstone of his family, always finding joy in spending time

with them and watching his children grow and thrive. He was a devoted husband, a

caring son, and a loving father whose kindness touched everyone he met.

Known for his generosity and warmth, Greg would do anything to help others and was

admired for his compassionate spirit. He shared his love for hockey with his family, as

well as cheering along Justin as he pursued the same passion. Greg also treasured

traveling with Melody to various regions and states for honors choir performances. His

welcoming nature made every gathering special, and he delighted in hosting friends and

family, always opening his home with open arms.

In honor of Greg’s memory and his giving heart, the family requests that, in lieu of

flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
