Gladys Jane (Sommers) Jurina

Lake Wylie – Mrs. Gladys Jane Sommers Jurina, 95, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at her home.

A native of Salem, Ohio, Mrs. Jurina was a daughter of the late John Lockwood Sommers, Sr. and Pearl McConner Sommers.  She worked for Royal China Company/Jeanette Corporation for 42 years.  She loved the Lord and was a member of several Baptist Churches and always loved working with children in the nursery.

Surviving is her sister, Ruth Chandler; a brother, Joseph Earl Sommers and his wife, Pat; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jurina.
