Gerald Dunn Meyers

Gerald (Jerry) Dunn Meyers, age 85, joined his wife Martha on October 12, 2018. He was born in Passaic, NJ on August 18, 1933.

Mr. Meyers graduated from Alexander schools in Union Mills, NC. After graduating, he joined the Army and went to Korea. After his tour was complete with the Army, he joined the Air Force and spent two tours in Vietnam with the Red Horse Construction Division and served on the Texas Towers off the New England Coast.

He was manager of Tega Cay Marina for many years. Jerry was a life member of DAV.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Forest Lawn East Cemetery, 4700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews, NC 28104 with full military honors.
