George Eugene Bonnell

Rock Hill – Mr. George Eugene Bonnell, 71, died Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Piedmont Medical Center.

A native of Salem, W.Va., Mr. Bonnell was a son of the late Eugene Fred Bonnell and Minnie Edward Bonnell.  He was an honorably discharged Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He will be remembered as a loving and caring, husband, father, and grandfather.  He was always considerate of other people.  He loved his cat, Miss Greenly.  He enjoyed fishing and watching WWE wrestling.  He was a great all around man.

Surviving are his son, Shawn Bonnell and his wife, Linda; and four grandchildren, Cadence Bonnell, Kylie Bonnell, Cameron Faile, and Carmen Faile.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Debra (Debbie) Bonnell; and a brother, Bud (Bubbie) Bonnell.
