Gene E. Sims, Jr.

Rock Hill - Mr. William "Gene" E. Sims, Jr., 84, of 863 Colonial Dr., died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Agape Senior Rehabilitation.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Memorial Park with Revs. Jerry Devinney and Mike Black officiating.

A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Sims was a son of the late William E. Sims, Sr. and Katie Matthews Sims.

Surviving are his wife, Sheraldine P. Sims; one daughter, Erline Garrison; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Jean McRorie and two sisters, Ruth Greenwood and Rebecca Jordan.

The family will receive friends anytime at the home of his daughter, 630 Robertson Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
