Gearline (Schwartz) Totherow

Fort Mill, SC – Mrs. Gearline Schwartz Totherow, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 2, 2022, at White Oak Manor York.

The family will receive friends 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Whitesell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 15, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, 333 Highway 21 Bypass, Fort Mill, SC 29715, with the Revs. Carl Williams and John Broach officiating,  Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Cherry Road, Rock Hill SC.

A native of Chester, SC, Mrs. Totherow was a daughter of the late Francis Laird Schwartz and Lela Myers Schwartz.  She retired from the Frito Lay Company.  She was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, Fort Mill, SC.

Mrs. Totherow is survived by her husband, Kenneth Totherow, Sr.; two sons, Kenneth Totherow, Jr. and Harold C. Totherow; a daughter, Carla Faye Ragan and her husband, David; three sisters, Virginia Wilson, Hattie Ogle and her husband, Russell, and Rita Marie; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Lisa Totherow.
