Gaye Bayne Funderburk

Indian Land - Mrs. Gaye Bayne Funderburk, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at CMC-Pineville.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Greater Life Baptist Church and a Celebration of Life service will follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Blue officiating.

A native of Indian Land, Mrs. Funderburk was a daughter of the late Tody Bayne and Marie Scoggins Bayne. Mrs. Funderburk enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild, and attending all their school and sporting events. She loved yard sales and going on outings with her friends, especially going out once a month with her group of friends known as the La-La girls. Mountain vacations were always a very special part of her relationship with her husband, Linson.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Linson R. Funderburk; her daughter, Tonya Funderburk; son, Todd Funderburk and his wife, Tonya; a brother, Tony Bayne (Debbie); five sisters, Bunia Totherow (Wylie), Barbara Taylor (Ronnie), Linda Griffin (Randy), Phyllis Taylor, and Mary Perrien (John); three grandchildren, Courtney Parker (Justin), T.J. Funderburk, and Tia Funderburk; one great-grandson, Jaxton Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
