Fort Mill, SC – Mr. Gary Heath Knight, Sr, 72, of 10418 Brimstone Dr. Fort Mill, SC 29707, died January 3, 2023, in Fort Mill, SC

The family will receive friends at 4:30 PM Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Greater Life Baptist Church, 17025 Lancaster Hwy. Charlotte, NC 28277.  A memorial service will begin at 5 pm and conclude with military honors.

A native of Indian Land, SC, Mr. Knight was a son of the late Heath and Dorothy Tarlton Knight. Mr. Knight was a United States Army Veteran.   He was a former supervisor at Lance Cooperation and worked in pipe manufacturing at Eslon.   He will be remembered as a man who loved fishing, watching football, going to yard sales, and watching classic westerns.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Knight; a son, Gary Heath Knight Jr (Robin Knight); two daughters, Amanda McClanahan (Marcell) and Tammy Armstrong (Graham); three sisters, Bobbie Cheek from Chesterfield, SC, Lynda Torres from Waxhaw, NC, and Sue Crocker from Lancaster, SC; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Knight; and his sister, Joann Coley; and his parents, Heath and Dorothy Knight.
