Gary Hostetler

Gary Hostetler, 67, of Fort Mill, SC passed away suddenly on October 11, 2025.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Brenda Hostetler. Also surviving are his beloved daughter, Bethany Arthur (Chris); two sisters, Lisa Tedrick (Jim), Laura Martin (Tom), and brother Paul Hostetler (Sherilyn). He also left behind nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

He was a kind and gentle man, hardworking and always ready to give someone a hand. He was also a believer in Jesus and an active member of First Baptist Church of Rock Hill.

After retirement, he learned to play and enjoyed playing Bocce Ball in his community. His favorite hobby was hiking; he was a member of the hiking club at Anne Springs Close Greenway, participating in multiple hikes a week.

He was well-loved and will be sorely missed.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Rock Hill, 481 Hood Center Drive, Rock Hill, South Carolina, 29730 on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service.
