Rock Hill - Mr. Gary Dixon Anderson, 64, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Whitesell Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff McWatters officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial - Cherry Road.
A native of Pittsburg, Pa., Mr. Anderson was a son of the late Charles Dixon Anderson and Dolores Roth Anderson. His nickname was "Chronic".
He is survived by his girlfriend, Debra Helms Hyatt; one son, Richard Anderson and his wife Teresa; one step-son, Alex Hyatt; two step-daughters, Jaime Thompson and her husband Michael and Shannon Lee and her husband Tommy; six grandchildren, David Silvers, Camille Silvers, Amanda Anderson, Elizabeth Anderson, Melissa Anderson and Brittany Anderson; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved pets Sofie, Pander, Jay.
The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Whitesell Funeral Home.
