Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Gail Katherine Brazzell Burgess, 80, died Sunday, July 5, 2026, at her home.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

A native of Rock Hill, SC Mrs. Burgess was a daughter of the late David Brazzell and Hazel Hodge Brazzell. One of her favorite things to do was to play Bingo. She has a special affection for her fur babies. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Surviving are her three children, Billy Burgess (Tonda), Kathy Hudson (John) and Dennis Burgess; two daughters-in-law, Diana Burgess and Patricia Burgess; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Burgess; two sons, Wayne Burgess and Danny Burgess; a brother, Mike Brazzell; a sister, Judy Burgess; and two grandchildren, Josh Burgess and Melissa Burgess.
