Freddie Lee Neal

Fort Mill – Mr. Freddie Lee Neal, 68, died Monday, November 1, 2021, at his home.

A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 5, 2021, at Whitesell Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeffery McWatters officiating.

A native of Gaffney, SC, Mr. Neal was a son of the late Major Neal and Mildred Blackwell Neal.  He will be remembered as a man who enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends.  Freddie was a very proud Fort Millian and he retired from the Town of Fort Mill.   He was known by many to be a simple man.

Surviving are his son, Freddie Neal, Jr.; a daughter, Yvonne Neal (John Slack); and three grandchildren, Joseph Tabot, Tyler Moss, and Justin Moss.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Mullinax Neal; two brothers, Louis Neal and Paul Neal.
