Rock Hill - Mr. Fredrick "Fred" Sanders, 87, of 2053 Reservation Road, died Thursday, December 05, 2013, at Unihealth of Rock Hill.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at the Catawba Indian Nation Cemetery.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Sanders was a son of the late John Idle Sanders and Arzada Brown Sanders. He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are two daughters, Sonji Sanders Kellam, Stephanie Sanders, a step-son, William Medlin; a step-daughter, Nona Alexander; three sisters, Ina Mahovie Bryson, Roberta Honeycutt, and Vivian Williford Lowder; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kaye S. Bemis.
Whitesell Funeral Home is serving the Sanders family.
