Dallas, GA. - Floyd William Harris, 84, of Dallas, GA., formerly of Rock Hill, died Saturday, December 15, 2012.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA..

Local funeral services in Rock Hill will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Catawba Ward, with burial in the church cemetery.

A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Harris is the son of the late Douglas and Georgia Harris. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he was very active, especially with missionary work. He was a member of the Catawba Indian Nation and enjoyed football, fishing and camping with his family. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from Lockheed as a machinist.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mae Harris; sons, Dean Harris (Vicky), William "Bill" Harris (Jayne), Curtis Harris, and Charlie Bruce (Donna); daughters, Susan Leah Manning (Murray), Janet Hall (Michael), and Deloria Harris, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, from 6-8 PM., and at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Catawba Ward, Rock Hill, Tuesday, from 2-3 PM.
