Fay Hooks Langley

Charlotte, NC – Mrs. Fay Hooks Langley, 82, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Carolinas Medical Center, Pineville.

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Unity Cemetery with Rev. Jeffery McWatters officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Dwayne Langley, 765 Colonial Drive, Rock Hill, SC.

Born in Charlotte, NC Mrs. Langley was a daughter of the late Leonard Grady Hooks and Chloe Vick Hooks. She was a graduate from South Mecklenburg High School, Charlotte, NC. She enjoyed being involved in sales most of her life.

Surviving are a son, Dwayne Vick Langley and his wife Kelly; three grandchildren: Chuck Langley, Holly Howie, and Heather Mouzon; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Langley; and a daughter, Kimberly Gaye Langston.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
