Everette A "Slim" Hill

Everette A Hill, 97, of Rock Hill, died Saturday, February 13, 2016. He was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII and was a member of the local VFW. He was retired from the Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company. Mr Hill was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Mozelle Hill; five children, Carl Gene, Jack Ronald, Margaret Ann, Everette Jr, and James; 4 sisters, Elsie Cooper, Willie Owens, Mae Peterson, Pearl Bridges; 3 brothers, William Austin, Irving Ellis, Bynum S. He is survived by: 6 children: Jerry, Charles, Donnie, Wanda, Betty and Diane; 1 sister: Mary Crotts; 1 brother: James Frank Hill; a special nephew: James "Jabo"; he was like a son to Everette. 15 grandchildren and 17 grandchildren also survive. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Grandview Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until 1:30pm Wednesday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to Providence Hospice
