Ernest Morris, Jr.

Rock Hill - Mr. Ernest "Bubba" Morris, Jr., 46, of 1203 Springwood Lane, died Monday, June 15, 2015, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Whitesell Funeral Home.

Born in Florence, Mr. Morris was a son of Ernest Morris and the late Mildred Hampton Parker. He was a dedicated, hard working employee of Barfield Grading Inc. for over 25 years. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was an active hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. Bubba was an all together ideal family man.

Surviving is a son, Joshua Morris; two daughters, Kayla Canty (Quinlan) and Whitney Morris; three brothers, Jason Chitwood, Christopher Morris, and Chad Morris; three sisters, Lynn Hines (Joey) Tara Cooglar, and Jessica Frye (Doug); and one Grandson, Logan Canty.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Catawba Ward Church Cemetery.
