Erline (Sims) Garrison

Rock Hill – Mrs. Erline Sims Garrison, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 2, 2020, at Atrium Health – Pineville.

The family will receive friends at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 and funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm at Lakewood Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating.  Burial will be at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.

She was a native of Rock Hill, SC and was a daughter of the late William Eugene Sims and Sheraldine Passmore Sims.  She was retired from Duke Energy Company and a past employee of Standard Life Insurance Company.  She was member of Oakdale Baptist Church where she was an active volunteer.    She served as a teacher with the Midtown Ministries.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Wayne Garrison; a daughter, Joy
Garrison Moseley and her husband, Benjie of Rock Hill; two grandsons, Hunter Mitchell and Garrison Moseley.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Sims McRorie.
